Planning: Governance and Project Management
Solaris acts as a key member or reporting arm of your steering committee, providing project updates, rick visibility and assessments, and issue escalation to ensure executive alignment.
We will own the project management role, tracking KPIs and utilizing the agile-stage-gate sprints that incorporate deliverables and testing, to allow for business processes to be tested and reviewed continuously. This minimizes last minute issue resolution, as it allows for scheduled focus areas to allow better organization and understanding of process needs.
Configuration: System Design and Process Mapping
Solaris takes the time to understand your current processes and business needs. Through ‘Fit Gap’” analysis, we will meet with your critical end users to understand both critical processes and desired requirements to map transaction flows to your new solution. Each business is unique, and your new ERP must be able to accommodate not only standard transactions, but one-off and urgent scenarios that still accommodate your control environment.

Migration: Data Cleansing and Migration
We believe in being proactive about your data migration. This involves updating live data in your legacy system to ensure it is complete and matches the required fields in your future state. It also allows the necessary time to collect new data that may be needed, and consider key flags for future reporting, mock uploads, and ongoing testing within your sandbox with comparison to current reconciliations.
Go-Live: Cut-over and Hypercare
Minimizing disruptions is critical, and Solaris will work with you to plan your optimal cut-over plan. Our proactive approach to data cleansing and migration aims to shorten your cut-over period to minimize business disruptions. We lead communications to vendors, and plan for emergency scenarios ahead of time.
From here, Solaris will lead your hypercare period, both assisting staff in training as well as prioritizing areas of improvement while your ERP team is still active.
Solaris will not only manage your implementation but create a communication plan to stakeholders to lead change management within your organization. They lead the development of team trainings, and the execution of role-based early education to prepare our staff for go-live.
